Ashton:that's a very good point. it's very hard not to belt out fly me to the moon and that taking your solo focus. just casually singing sinatra and being able to focus on something else? that takes skills. i think all food is good, in moderation and never veering from the healthy food lane is just unsustainable. if someone doesn't like banana bread? i don't think we could be friends.

Ashton:if you're watching cooking shows to get inspired, i feel like youtube shows are better for it. they seem more reachable. i mean, i love watching gordon ramsey cook, but i'm not sure i'd like to use him as inspo. i can send you over some of my favourite cooking youtube channels. there's this guy that's learning to cook by using julia child's recipes and it's the most amazing thing. i end up binging several videos at a time. oh, that's very kind of you to say. it's learned charm, taking cues from our audience and learning to communicate with them in the most effective way possible. i'm an introvert that's been forced to be extrovert for over ten years now lmao.

Ashton:i think australia will always be home, but we're reaching a time, where we've lived abroad longer than we lived in sydney and that's a bit of a mindfuck. my answer is quite sappy though, my home is where our family is, as i don't get attached to places, home can be anywhere where my loved ones are. you seem to be exceptional at everything, so i have all the faith in the world in you smashing that recipe and wowing your girlfriend and son with it. hopefully you'll be in new york, while we're on tour there. we're playing madison square garden and i would love to send you guys tickets to the event. seeing a friendly face in the crowd is v important.

god, that actually does sound pretty gross to say out loud. i guess the days of my carefree dumbassery are well and truly over with. thereโs worse reasons for change though and ultimately, i have no regrets. i can confess to being one of these people that didnโt see parenthood in their future. it had never felt appealing before, for various reasons. itโs something you donโt have to decide for years. your mind might change or then it wonโt. itโs one of those things that other people get so judgey about, but itโs really no one elseโs business. i adore parenthood, but itโs also rough mentally and physically and not everyone feels the drive for it. i mean, if weโre not embarrassing to her when sheโs a teenager, weโve clearly done something wrong. iโd love that so much. i want her exposed to as much different cultures and languages as possible, to give her the best chances of success as an adult. being on stage and having an entire giant stadium in the palm of your hand is pretty impressive. youโre power, i bow down to you. itโs going good, weโre doing tour prep at the same time and iโm just taking it slow. no rush necessary. / @lalisamanobcn

Thats fine. I can imagine how things would be busy. My Easter has been great, thank you. I am glad you had a great one with your family. Especially with your daughter’s first birthday. My family doesn’t really have any traditions for Easter. This year it was just me, my son and my mother. As for my Valentine’s baby, he isn’t really a baby anymore. He is 12 years old.
he might not technically be a baby, but he’s still always your baby. my daughter is an infant, but i don’t think i’ll ever be able to not think of her as my baby girl. that will probably annoy her as she gets older but that’s how it goes. does your son want to follow in your family’s musical footsteps or is he passionate about something else?

ash:i have these little suction cup candle holders for the bus. they'll keep them sturdy, if the bus wobbles and i don't have to worry about it. no chance for them falling and accidentally setting everything on fire. definitely not a superhero, just someone who wants to try a little bit of everything. we can make you a few, since different scents fit different moods. i'll get everything ready and you just show up whenever you've got time. we're home until july, just hanging out with the baby and writing music. are you working currently?
